In the quiet of the morning, I find my center. In the spaces in between here and there, I know my purpose. In the shadow, light reveals itself to me. ~ Me. ✨ This day and every day I wish you love. No matter what has happened or never did, I send you love. ♥️ ✨ We are here to enjoy this life. Alongside its intricacies and fears, the walk is made easier when it’s done so in faith. Trust that your footing is being placed and guided. If it feels wrong, maybe it is - or maybe it’
Through the inevitable discomfort of having to unlearn old bad habits, I had to take ownership of redefining my sense of self so that I could discover my purpose. That meant embracing time alone. Transforming on my own wasn’t my first choice, but it’s grown to be my most treasured. Getting comfortable with being with myself showed me that I could shed, release and outgrow anything, including my old ways and habits that didn’t serve me well. Change taught me the importance of
Patience....!✨ In a world where we have our finger constantly on the pulse of immediate gratification the concept of patience can be trying. ✨ But we must practice patience with ourselves and the world we live in. And realize that it IS a practice. We COME to these things...Sometimes quickly and sometimes slowly, they materialize IF we work (and wait) for them. ✨ In the world of recovery we often talk about being ‘in the hallway’. I’m not very fond of the hallway 🙄, most peo
#keepgoing if it’s not here, all that you desire or search for...then it will meet you on your way. Promise ✌🏼 ✨ ✨ Did you ever wonder why the human mind is only and always temporarily satisfied? I believe its because if we were fully whole and fulfilled there would be nothing more to walk towards, to wish for. How would we then grow our faith - practice our faith? How would we then propose to get closer to divinity/God? Which is part of our purpose. To love and know ourselv
#leaveitwithgod ✨ A sweet friend sent me The Golden Key by Emmet Fox...✨ The concept it to take anything/one that disturbs you and surrender it/them to God. Don’t think about the difficulty, if it’s a person, circumstance or pain...Golden Key it. ✨ When the issue arises in your mind - think of God instead ✨. You can use a phrase such as ‘God is with me’ or ‘I am filled and surrounded by His perfect peace’ (these are my faves) It takes practice but eventually you will get good
#mindyourwords ✨ Anyone that knows me well will recognize this little ditty. I am always reminding my friends and family to be careful with their words. ✨ This is more about how you speak to yourself - how WE speak to ourselves. It’s often harsh. ✨ The words that are rolling around and around in our minds are so important to how we feel about ourselves. How we go about our day. ✨ So speak with kindness and compassion to yourself. Your inner dialogue is monumentally important.
Let there be light ✨ I woke up early, my heart filled with gratitude for all that I have and all that I don’t have so I took myself up to the River for a sunrise walk. 🥰 I’m reminded of the gifts that have been constant along the way. Life has not been without struggle and strife, I have surely seen my fair share of heartache and suffering. Some of it lays like a mist interwoven like a tapestry into my life’s experience. And for those too, I am grateful...without them how d
